In this paper I will concentrate on different means of expressing the future in English and on how I teach them to secondary school students. I chose this topic Teaching the Future to Secondary School Students because I consider Future Tenses very important tenses, tenses which are frequently used.

People always think of the future, they always talk about it, about both near and distant future. Everybody’s future is important. People always plan different events, they make predictions and promises, they express hopes and intentions, they set goals. As non-native speakers of English, students may find all these means of expressing the future difficult and sometimes confusing. That is why there is need for more studying and consolidation.
