Communicative Language Testing, autor Irina Magdalena Morariu


This paper focuses on the cognitive processing approach to assessing the English language competences and performance of the 12th grade students from `1 MAI` Vocational High School. The research started from the premises that there is a gap between the intended policy, the actual policy and the policy in use with regard to FL studies and a need to create a harmonious relationship between all these by applying not only the European (CEFR), but also the American (CCSS) instruments in both FL teaching and evaluation.
