A SURVEY OF THE NARRATOLOGICAL COMPONENTS OF SAMUEL BECKETT’S PROSE AND DRAMA. THEORETICAL ASPECTS, autor Adriana Tudose

Samuel Beckett found his own voice after the Second World War, when he made the original synthesis of Proust’s explorations of memory, Joyce’s linguistic virtuosity, Surrealists’ interest in dream logic and Eliot’s and Kafka’s profound sense of sterility and blockage. These writers were on the scene of literature in 1928, when Beckett arrived in Paris and attached himself to the circle around Joyce and Eugene Zola’s avant-garde magazine, Transition.
