It is a creative way to end the school year, to warm hearts, and to apply what we’ve learned in a useful and enjoyable way! The burden of homework disappears, deeply dormant ideas in the subconscious are reborn, feelings resurface, and positive emotions find their way into everyday life!
Beyond the development of linguistic, cultural, and digital skills, the enthusiasm of fifth graders to participate interactively in extracurricular activities becomes evident — to experience the well-being that knowledge brings, to create new friendships, and to engage with teachers in a different way.
Strictness fades, imagination takes flight, and the spring holidays bring out the best they have to offer: peace, tranquillity, hope, and childhood.
This is a project about discovering various national and international traditions and customs, promoting the unique elements of this season within a multicultural world.
The content and activities initiated aim to highlight the positive experiences of the participating educational institutions, to foster awareness of cultural and educational elements, attachment to the universal cultural heritage, and active student engagement in stimulating creativity, developing critical thinking, and providing opportunities to collaborate, to revive team spirit and social interaction in a post-pandemic context where isolation had reigned over society.
Thus, spring becomes a reason to bring smiles to the faces of schoolchildren burdened by the rigors of daily life—a way to escape the somber reality and to bring back to life joy, solidarity, and everything that defines us as human beings through knowledge!
