Times change and so do the students. Nowadays, since students’ interest for study, in general, has declined, I strongly agree that teachers need to improve their teaching strategies, to use innovative and interesting activities in order to transform the foreign language acquisition, in particular, into a pleasant school subject. As a teacher in a secondary school with second language learners of English, I often employ drama, which I consider a powerful teaching tool in classroom activities. The feedback from my students has been positive and they have considered dramatic activities being motivating, creative, entertaining and enthusiastic.
