It is a great pleasure to present you Daniel Thomas Moran and his very beautiful collection of poems, From Hilo to Willow Pond. I am happy to be the one that enables you to read so many interesting poems. The present paper contains the translation of more than 90 poems but not only. It also contains an introductory essay, in which I made a literary analysis of the author’s poems, a chapter dedicated to the justification of my choices in translating the text, a note on the author and a very interesting interview with the poet himself. I hope you will enjoy reading this volume at least as much as I did when translating it.
