Effectiveness Of Audio-Visual Aids In Teaching English To Lower Secondary Students, autor Claudia Mager

When it comes to the study of a language, audio-visual aids are always beneficial in the teaching and learning process. However, engaging pupils, particularly young and teenage students, to study grammar and vocabulary is a difficult undertaking since they have a combination of qualities that make their learning process extremely complex. As a result, teachers should seek out the most effective teaching strategies for assisting young learners in becoming more conscious of language norms and being able to apply them effectively.

In this regard, one of the most effective teaching strategies for teaching grammar and vocabulary to secondary school pupils is to employ audio-visual aids. Teachers must have a thorough grasp of the benefits of using audio-visuals in English grammar and vocabulary instruction for children, as well as how to use them in the language classroom, in order to implement it effectively. The reasons for utilizing audio-visuals materials as a teaching method in the case of secondary school students, the benefits of using audio-visual materials in language teaching, and the introduction of audio-visual aids within the framework of grammar instruction are three major questions to be addressed in this study.
