The purpose of the paper is to prove that the learning environment can have a great impact on students’ creativity and critical thinking and can give students the necessary skills to examine principles and values.<br />
The starting point of the paper is the fact that being critical and thinking for oneself are key elements in becoming educated. The mini-critical classroom is a place where students use critical thinking and creative tools. The values of critical thinking are: thruth, open-mindedness, empathy, autonomy, rationality, self-criticism. In a mini-critical classroom, the teacher is a questioner, not a preacher. </p>
