This work is a theoretical approach to economic translation. The purpose of this paper is to underline the importance of knowing the economic terminology that translators have to deal with in the field. Even if the translator is not aware of all the terms and concepts, he may be confident in himself due to a general view in the domain. The structure consists in three chapters which include important issues regarding the translation process and especially translation in the field of economics.
